Official commencement of construction of the headquarters of the Police Public Order and Riot Control Division

On Friday, July 10, a ceremony was held for the laying of the foundation stone marking commencement of construction of the headquarters of the Cracow Public Order and Riot Control Division. The new headquarters will meet all standard requirements. The investment includes construction of a two-story staff and barrack building and a ground-floor garage and workshop building. The project also includes a central warehouse, sub-warehouse, a security pass and dispatch office, sports hall with technical facilities and garage. A barrack square, car parks, maneuver yards and access roads will be built as well. It will probably be the most modern facility in Poland for police officers serving every day in the Police Public Order and Riot Control Division. Construction is planned for the years 2015 – 2017 and the cost of the entire project is estimated at ca. PLN 46 million.
